Why should Press attend EuroPerio9?
EuroPerio is the world’s biggest scientific meeting devoted to periodontology. The most recent of these triennial meetings, EuroPerio8, took place in London in June 2015 and brought together almost 10,000 people.
Listen to presentations from over 120 experts in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry from all over the world. Among the topics of potential interest to press:
- The global burden of periodontitis
- Physical activity and periodontitis
- The role of nutrition and the consequences of obesity on gum health
- The impact of sleep disorders on periodontal health
- The role of gut microbiome in gum disease
- Gum disease affects the rest of the body; attend presentations on the links between:
- periodontology and diabetes
- periodontology and cardiovascular disease
Registered press representatives and other stakeholders in the science will have access to all official sessions, industry sponsored symposia and exhibition.
We strongly recommend online registration prior to the meeting in order to receive media alerts and embargoed content before EuroPerio9.
Onsite registration will be available. Do not forget to bring your press credentials and letter of assignment in order to be able to register as Press.
Press representatives attending EuroPerio9 must commit to respecting all embargoes set by the EFP.
Journalists who receive embargoed material from the EFP understand that it is for their individual use and will not distribute the embargoed information to anyone else prior to the embargo release. Violation of the EuroPerio9 Media policy will be penalised.
