EFP YouTube channel now has more than 300 subscribers with videos viewed more than 50,000 times

More than 300 people have now subscribed to the EFP’s video channel on YouTube, which offers a selection of videos about gum health and other periodontal issues of interest to the whole dental team.
There are now more than 160 EFP-produced videos on the channel and these have been viewed more than 53,500 times.
The three most popular videos are Perio and general health: the vital connections (which has been viewed more than 10,000 times), an abridged version of the same video, and Diabetes and Periodontal Disease.
Other popular videos include the EFP-backed documentary video The Sound of Periodontitis, Primary prevention of peri-implantitis, and Cardio and Periodontal Disease.
The EFP YouTube channel features different kinds of material, including videos about perio science, about EFP events such as EuroPerio8, and institutional videos such as Periodontal health for a better life.
The YouTube channel features several “playlists” which group together a number of linked videos. Playlists include Prevention Workshop, European Day of Periodontology (12 May 2016), and the April 2016 EFP press conference in Frankfurt.
People who subscribe to the YouTube channel receive details of new EFP videos when they log in to the video-sharing site, which can also be configured to send alerts via email or SMS text message whenever new material is added.
