A dozen main sponsors have already agreed to support the EuroPerio9 congress, which takes place in Amsterdam in June 2018, and discussions are taking place with a further eight companies.
Many of these are companies that have been loyal to the EFP as sponsors of previous EuroPerio congresses, but new partners are coming on board and the total number of sponsors is set to increase
With up to 10,000 delegates from perio and dentistry expected at the triennial EuroPerio congress, sponsors are keen to come on board to reach this large audience of oral-health professionals.
Mondial Congress and Events, the EFP’s professional conference organiser, confirmed that sponsorship co-operation for EuroPerio9 has been agreed for four “diamond”, two “platinum”, and six “gold” sponsors.
The diamond sponsors so far agreed are: Elaf Medical Supplies, a provider of medical products based in Amman, Jordan; MIS Implants, which provides dental implants and related products and technologies; Nobel Biocare, a provider of implant systems and regenerative and prosthetic solutions; and Oral-B, the provider of oral-health products owned by Proctor & Gamble, one of the world’s leading consumer-goods companies.
The platinum sponsors are: Acteon, the French provider of hi-tech medical devices, and Thommen Medical, the Swiss designer and manufacturer of dental-implant systems.
The gold sponsors are Anthogyr, a French provider of implantology and dental products;
Dentaid, a global provider of consumer oral-health products; Geistlich Biomaterials, a provider of biomaterials for bone regeneration; Kulzer , a provider of implant and dentistry products; NSK, a provider of professional oral-health products; and Sunstar, a global provider of consumer oral-health products.
A further eight companies are in advanced discussions about joining these 12 as main sponsors of EuroPerio9, which takes place at the RAI Amsterdam congress centre between June 20 and 23, 2018. It follows the highly successful EuroPerio8 in London, in June 2015, which was attended by 9,626 delegates.
“Along with increasing participant numbers, EuroPerio’s profile has also steadily risen, turning it into the world’s leading congress in periodontology,” said Michèle Reners, chair of the EuroPerio9 organising committee. “As ever, we are very dependent on our industry partners for the viability and success of the meeting and thus grateful for their continuing support.”
