EFP Postgraduate Symposium
The EFP Postgraduate Symposium is an EFP initiative that involves mainly the postgraduate students of all accredited programmes. Graduate students of 2nd and 3rd year are invited as well as the programme directors and co-ordinators. The goal is to set up a programme “for the students and by students” and to develop a network of accredited graduate programmes and try to foster a mobility programme for students and staff within this network. It provides a special and unique opportunity to bring these students together to benefit from a high-level, EFP-developed scientific discourse.
The symposiums provide the opportunity to the graduate students to present their clinical or research work. Usually, two students per centre are invited to speak.
This is also the opportunity for all the directors to meet and agree on a series of updates related to the EFP programmes.
The postgraduate symposium takes place every two years and is organised by one of the EFP-accredited postgraduate programmes in periodontology.
