Perio Master Clinic 2026 Baku

The EFP International Perio Master Clinic is the premier forum for the promotion of clinical excellence in emerging and important clinical challenges in our specialty.

Education

The EFP's work in education includes a set of curricular guidelines for undergraduate dental education, a three-year accredited programme for postgraduate education in periodontology, and some continuing education tools for reference and consultation of dental professionals all along their careers. Besides, this area is the home of the 'EFP Alumni' section.

Organised annually by the EFP, is a world-leading scientific meeting bringing together top experts in periodontal science to reach new consensus on emerging topics

Overview

The Perio Workshop, organised annually by the European Federation of Periodontology, brings together world-class periodontists for a high-level scientific meeting. Each edition focuses on a specific topic of major clinical and scientific importance in periodontology and oral health, reviewing and synthesising the latest evidence through systematic reviews and consensus discussions.

The outcomes of each Perio Workshop (also known as the European Workshop on Periodontology) are published as special open-access monographic supplements in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology (JCP), providing authoritative guidance on the science behind gum health and gum disease.

The EFP also organises Focused Workshops if the need arises to address a scientific topic that does not reach the significance and breadth of a full EFP Workshop.
