The regenerative product division of Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, has become a partner of the European Federation of Periodontology.

The sponsorship agreement signed in the last quarter of 2023 will enable the EFP to expand its activities and enhance its oral health prevention campaigns, benefiting dental professionals and the public alike.

Monique Danser, EFP treasurer, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: "We are excited to welcome the regenerative product division of Dentsply Sirona as our sponsor. This partnership will provide invaluable support for our mission to contribute to our member’s professional development and improve oral health across our communities. With Dentsply’s involvement, we can expand our reach and impact in the field of oral health prevention."

“Dentsply Sirona’s expertise in regenerative solutions aligns perfectly with the EFP’s mission to advance the field of periodontology. Through this partnership, we aim to drive innovation and contribute to the improvement of patient care in the field of periodontics. Together we can make a positive impact on the dental community and the patients we serve,” said David Josza, vice president and general manager of Regenerative Solutions at Dentsply Sirona.

Dentsply Sirona’s regenerative solutions sponsorship will support the EFP’s workshops and other efforts to create educational programmes and initiatives aimed at raising awareness about oral health. The collaboration underscores both Dentsply Sirona’s and the EFP’s commitment to fostering a healthier society through improved oral care.

This alliance makes Dentsply Sirona’s regenerative product division the EFP’s ninth sponsor, joining Dentaid, Oral-B, Colgate, Haleon, Straumann, Curasept, Philips and Kenvue.
