The Baku Convention Center, the largest in the Caucasus, is an ultra-modern platform capable of providing events at the highest international level. Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) is located approximately 25 minutes by car from the Baku Congress Center.
By Public Transportation
You can reach the venue in about one hour using a combination of public transport:
Bus H1 "28 May metrostansiyası" to "Koroghlu st."
Red Metro Line "Icherisheher" from "Koroghlu" to "Nariman Narimanov"
short 5-minute walk to the Congress Center
Aeroexpress Shuttle
The Aeroexpress bus service runs between Terminals 1 and 2 of the airport and Baku Railway Station (m/s “28th May”). More information here.

Stops en route: "Surakhani Bridge" and "Koroglu" metro station
Travel time: approx. 30 minutes
From the railway station, you can continue to the Congress Center via Bus Line 11 in approx. 13 minutes.

Safety
Azerbaijan is said to be one of the safest tourist destinations in the world, praised for its low level of crime, allowing visitors to enjoy their surroundings with minimal safety concerns. The emergency number for police is 102, which is available 24 hours a day.

Most hotels and the congress venue are fully equipped with Wi-Fi. Local mobile providers offer affordable data plans for access to 4G mobile networks. SIM cards can be purchased directly upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, where several mobile operator stores are located.
Currency
The currency in Azerbaijan is the manat (AZN). Card payments are accepted at most shops and restaurants and Mastercard/Visa. ATMs are available in the capital.
Time zone
Baku operates on Azerbaijan Time (AZT), which is UTC +4 hours. The country does not observe daylight saving time, so the time remains consistent throughout the year.
Religion
Most of the population in Azerbaijan follows Islam; however, the country is secular. There is no enforced or expected Muslim dress code, and alcohol is widely available. Azerbaijan takes pride in its multiculturalism and tolerance.
