“I’d like to thank everyone for a fantastic job. International Perio Master Clinic 2023 in Mexico was an amazing success,” declared EFP president Darko Božić last Saturday 6 May at the closing of event. “The lectures were fantastic, and the atmosphere was unique with delegates staying until the very end and taking photos with speakers. I’d like to thank the Mexican Society of Periodontology for an outstanding job and all our sponsors and partners for their support.”
Over 700 delegates attended the meeting that took place on 5 and 6 May in the historic city of León, Mexico, on “Hard- and soft-tissue aesthetic reconstructions around teeth and dental implants: current and future challenges.” Attendees gained understanding on topics such as: combined periodontal and bone regeneration; soft tissue grafting to maintain peri-implant health and complication management after reconstructive surgery, among others.
Alejandro García, congress chair, said: “This was a truly global conference, with delegates from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. We were proud to present the latest clinical techniques in the challenging area of regeneration of hard and soft tissues. We had a young audience and a great atmosphere. Thank you all for coming!”
The next International Perio Master Clinic will take place in Singapore in 2024. Anton Sculean, scientific chair, commented: “This International Perio Master Clinic has again demonstrated the global power of the EFP. The quality of lectures and the organisation were outstanding. We can’t wait to see you in Singapore in January next year to continue sharing knowledge that impacts our daily practice and to carry on learning together.”
